I believe that advancing higher education requires more than just internal strategy; it demands active engagement with the most pressing conversations of our time. I am committed to contributing to this dialogue through strategic leadership at key events, community-building initiatives, and scholarly writing. This is how I help shape the conversation.
The 2022 Diversity Campus Experience (DiCE)
I was instrumental in the strategic development of the DiCE event and its accompanying digital resource page.
In collaboration with the Black Graduate Professional Student Association (BGPSA) and the Auburn Graduate School, I focused on designing an impactful, immersive virtual experience and ensuring the resource hub provided lasting value with practical tools to support ongoing professional development for participating fellows.
As a contributing strategist for the conference, I helped architect a program designed to move beyond surface-level discussions.
My focus was on creating an environment that fostered deep, actionable dialogue on inclusive practices and equipped leaders with frameworks to drive change at their home institutions.
QMER (Quantitative Methods in Educational Research) Digital Community
I executed and curated communications for the QMER LinkedIn community as a dedicated platform for promoting it’s events.
It was an intentional space designed to break down institutional silos, share cutting-edge research, and elevate the discourse around quantitative methods in education.
