For me, this work is deeply personal.

I’m glad you’re here!

At Annette’s Table

Dr. Clarissa Beavers

I believe the most noticeable challenges in higher education are not administrative or operational, they’re human. They require more than data, they demand wisdom, courage, and a dedicated space for collaborative conversation. That is the space I hold for the leaders I partner with.

My professional philosophy is embodied by the memory of the late women who raised me, especially my mom Annette. In my world, the kitchen table has always been a place of warmth and wisdom where problems are untangled with some good comfort food.

At Annette’s Table is more than a brand name. It’s my devotion to framing a harmonious environment for institutional leaders. It’s about curating a dedicated space, away from the daily pressures, where we can collaboratively diagnose challenges, build consensus, and balance design strategies that are deeply resonant with your institution’s culture and values.

My philosophy: Architecting Change from the Inside Out

I see myself as a strategic systems architect. My process begins with deep listening and rigorous qualitative research to map the entire ecosystem of your institution, from stakeholder networks to graduate programs. This allows us to move beyond the surface-level issues and address the true, underlying structural imbalances.

True balance requires collaborative leadership. I don’t deliver reports from a distance, rather I prefer to facilitate a process of change alongside you. We work together to translate evidence-based findings into actionable recommendations and sustainable strategies that honor your unique culture while driving measurable results.

In essence, my goal is to bridge the gap from research to practice. With deep expertise in the dynamics of institutional and organizational development, including land-grant universities, I specialize in translating research into clear, strategic guidance that supports senior administrators to lead with harmony.
